And the champion is....

I really thanked God for still being a champion in the District Read-a-Thon contest English and Filipino category. Mine and my student's given effort and time from the very start of our training really produce good fruits for they won and become the overall champion. My contestants are really fantastic and fabulous. They had really given their best to defend the title we got for the previous years. In modesty aside, it's the fourth year this school year where we became the Overall Champion in the District Read-A-Thon Contest. Mmmm, I will ask for an outstanding accomplishment award! lol...That's their promise if coaches/trainors will win for 3 successive years in any contest, they will give an award as an outstanding accomplishment. I just hope they could remember it. I accept it's only an "ulog-ulog" as what some of my co-teachers say, but it helps a lot in the performance of a teacher like me. It's a kind of effective motivation. Not only pupils need appreciation or motivation, but we, teachers too. Even it's only a certificate, an ordinary paper printed with black ink, yet it means a lot for teachers who work hard for the sake of the Filipino students who are craving for good performing teachers who produce quality graduates.
