Keeping Abreast of the World's New Technology

When I was a newly graduate high school student, I couldn't forget about the arguments between me and my mother. It was all about the course I should take in college. She wanted me to be a public teacher like her. I didn't agree with her because at that time businessphonesystems started to be popular and widely used by many companies in the Philippines. I appreciated most a career that uses new technology like computers. That is why, I really took and graduated the degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. I enjoyed manipulating computers and did programming using cobol and pascal programming language at that time. However, job offers for me after I graduated were not attractive. I enrolled to another course which made me a great teacher now. The course which my mother liked most. I thought I won't love this job yet I am recognized as a good teacher in reading through my career. However, businessphonesystems are still very necessary in the teaching and learning process. I used my mobile phone in taking pictures and recording videos. I burned those using my desktop in a blank compact disk and played in a DVD player and Television in school which I personally bought. Multi-media teaching is really effective to students. It arouses their interest and motivates them to be an active learner. Thus, I am still not behind those new technologies that evolves in the world.
