How to Achieve A Peaceful and Progressive Nation?

A progressive and peaceful nation is the greatest dream of every human being. It is the main reason why all inhabitants on earth continue to search for it along their journey. But why is it very elusive to achieve?

According to Whitney Houston in her song entitled "The Greatest Lo
ve of All", "I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside." I strongly agree with her. Educating the children well with appropriate skills and virtues they need to acquire would really lead to a progressive and peaceful nation.

One the of the best strategies in education that is suited to every learner is the Role-Modeling Strategy. In this strategy, teachers serve as good role-models for their students to emulate. According to the maxim "What the elders do and say are always right in the eyes of the children". Therefore, whatever children observed from them is always right for them. When teachers practice and show the right values to them it would be effectively transcend and be lived by them throughout their lives.

I can remember my pre-school niece, the daughter of my brother, studying at Oroquieta City Central School this school year 09-10 who idolized very much her teacher in school. She can always relate whatever her teacher say and do. She always showed to us what she learned in school after their session. Whatever corrections we did to her for improvement she always said "No, that's what her teacher is teaching". We just laughed and concluded that teachers are really great influence factor for the children. That is why it is a need for all teachers to live and practice the good values in life also in order to pass it on effectively to their pupils.
