The First Day of Our Summer Reading Camp

Posted by Shyle on 9:30 PM in

Today is the first day of our Summer Reading Camp. Some of the teachers were so confused of what to be done first and what activities they will have to give to their pupils. Though we were given a training matrix and a copy of the suggested activities but, many of them were not trained about it especially the Mathematics and Science teachers. It is advantage for us English teachers for we were trained about the activities to be done.

As I arrived in the school this morning, I hadn't see any pupils and teachers except the many dried leaves on the ground. I thought nobody is interested to join in the summer reading camp but I was glad when I saw one of my co-teachers inside her room who arrived ahead of me. It was 8:30 already in the morning but we were only two. Many pupils were coming with different grades and reported to us. We let them wrote their names on the attendance sheet per grade and gladly at 9:00 A.M. we had gathered many pupils already.

I have 13 pupils who excitedly join the activity and attentively responded to the lessons I taught this morning. It is so satisfying to see them again in the school. They are so diligent in coming to school and ready to accept and learn new lessons in Education. I can see myself to them when I was an elementary pupil like them. I am just hoping and praying that I can successfully transcend to them all my knowledge and virtues in life.
