Posted by Shyle on 9:46 PM in
New Year's Eve is observed on December 31, the final day of the Gregorian year, the day before New Year's Day. New Year's Eve is a separate observance from the observance of New Year's Day according to Wikepedia.

Most of the people welcome the new year by preparing variety of foods on the table together with the family and relatives at home. Many people also like to hear explosions from different kinds of firecrackers. And christian people go to church to thank God for the new year given by him and do some activities to celebrate and be happy.

Many also believe that putting different kinds of circle-shaped fruits is a good luck. But for us, being happy and celebrating together the incoming new year is the best luck.
