Why Doctors Go Back to School and Study Nursing?

Health is wealth. When our body is always healthy, we are considered the richest human beings on earth. No matter how poor we are in terms of money, as long as we have good health, it is already so great. However, it is normal also to have illness and diseases since we have only a human body. In that cases, doctors are really important to us in giving advice for the treatment of the sickness we are suffering. They are the one we can rely on in order to have good health again.

But why are doctors now go back to school and study nursing? Are nurses more important than them? It is so confusing because both of them have equal importance to human beings. They both help patients be treated. The difference is the doctor is the one telling what is the right medicine while the nurses give it to be taken by the patients. It can be understood that Doctors have higher responsibility than nurses.

Doctors studied their profession for ten years while nurses for only four years. We have heard some humors why they study nursing for four years again because of the meager income they are receiving in our country. And since nurses are more hired abroad than doctors, they are force to enrol the profession and go back to school. It is not bad to dream. And it is a dream come true when you can go abroad and earn high salary income per hour from the service you are rendering.

We really feel envious to others who have good income outside the country. We can see that they have built nice and big houses. They have bought luxurious cars. They eat in an expensive restaurants. Their children study at a private school and can get what they want. Nobody likes to stay in a craddle. Everybody wants to go out, walk and live for a better living. Dreaming to have all those things and becoming true to life is a great achievement. We can say that success is true to those who are striving hard to reach it.
